Street Sweeping Schedule:

 

The Borough of Tamaqua will be posting streets for street sweeping beginning on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. The permanently posted streets that are cleaned every Thursday and Friday will be cleaned beginning April 8 and April 9 at 5:00 a.m. These streets include East and West Broad, Berwick, Center, Pine, North and South Railroad Streets and portions of Nescopec and Swatara Streets. Streets will be posted the day before sweeping is scheduled. Drivers are reminded that they must move their vehicles from the posted areas. Vehicles that remain on the posted streets will be ticketed.

 

Property owners and residents are encouraged to clean their sidewalks the day before their street is cleaned. Street sweeping will continue as needed, and the schedule is subject to change depending on work schedules and weather conditions.
