***If you have already filed your report, please disregard this notice & thank you for filing.***

As you know, your business and/or parcel is located within the Tamaqua CRIZ (Community Revitalization & Improvement Zone). Tamaqua is the only borough to have this designation (as a pilot program) and one of only three zones across the Commonwealth. The program was created by a state law in 2013 and the goal is to encourage development and revitalization.

The CRIZ legislation requires that ALL businesses (and hired contractors) in the zone file an annual online CRIZ report with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. This also includes reporting by any and all businesses located in the parcel, even if they are not the owner of the property.

Your report for tax-year 2020 must be completed by June 15, 2021. This report needs to be completed EVERY YEAR, regardless if you participate in the CRIZ program or not.

To file, either you or your tax preparer can log on to:
Click on “NIZ/CRIZ/MIRP Report” on the menu on the left under e-Services.
