In observance of the Labor Day holiday garbage will not be picked up in the Tamaqua Borough on Monday, September 4, 2017.  Anyone who normally has their trash picked up on a Monday, will be picked up on Tuesday.  Tuesday's garbage will be picked up on Wednesday.  Recycling for the whole town will be on Saturday, September 9th.  Thursday and Friday garbage pick up will remain on the normal schedule.
